announced major enhancements in the new release of Atrium version 3.2, a web-based project collaboration tool for the Architectural and Engineering
Industries. Atrium (http://www.pragmaticsw.com/Atrium) is a customizable project
collaboration tool. Being web-based, it has the capacity of being
deployed across an entire organization regardless of geographic location. No
installation is necessary; all that is needed is an Internet connection and a
browser.
Atrium version 3.2 now sports an improved user interface, improved search
capabilities and Ad-hoc reports. The new release also speeds data entry and
provides the ability to copy, move or clone data between projects. Additional
improvements include the ability to track appointments, meetings, to-do lists,
and project tasks. Team members can also delegate their schedule for others to
manage and on-line appointments can be saved in Microsoft Outlook.
In addition to the new enhancements, Atrium allows architectural and design
communities to collaborate by sharing documents (like CAD drawings, policy and
procedure manuals, etc.). Team members can also hold on-line discussions
and use the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) to track sales leads, employees,
customers and other contacts.
